Python Job: Python - Sr Software Engineer

About the role We seek an experienced, talented Software Engineer to join the engineering team in Los Angeles or remotely anywhere. You will be involved throughout the entire product life-cycle, from understanding requirements to building future versions of our product. You will also help to deliver and deploy new versions of the product. The position will work closely (and directly) with the CTO and Founders. Responsibilities Develop features and improvements our platform in a secure, well-tested, and performant way Collaborate with other stakeholders within Product and Engineering (Frontend, UX, etc.) to deliver new experiences to our customers and data partners Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance Solve technical problems of advanced scope and complexity Help craft engineering processes to enforce code is checked and that meets internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment Conduct code reviews for code written by other team members Recognize impediments to our efficiency as a team ("technical debt"), propose and implement solutions

Requisitos

Fluent level of English Skills: Flask, Python, SQL, Microservices, APIs Rest 4+ years experience designing, deploying and maintaining backend software using a micro-services architecture Experience designing RESTful APIs and familiarity with the OpenAPI specification Deep familiarity with relational databases and SQL Advanced knowledge of Python and previous experience building backend applications using the Flask framework Knowledge of data engineering tools and processes strongly preferred but not required
